A Century of Scholarship: Travelling Students of the National University of Ireland

In 2008, NUI published a remarkable book featuring a great deal of information about the 1000 odd people who benefitted from Travelling Scholarships, Prizes, and Bursaries since NUI's founding a century century earlier.

The NUI webpage for this 272-page volume: A Century of Scholarship: Travelling Students of the National University of Ireland

Some of the relevant listings are buried here A project of this magnitude, crammed with dates, tables featuring one letter institution abbreviations (D,C,G,M), etc, is clearly subject to transcription or human error. Note how clode C and D are on a keyboard. [See what just happened? It was not planned that way, honestly.]

Our focus below is on those classified as being in the areas of Mathematics or Mathematical Science or Physics.

Below we list known errors. (NUI themselves have two pages of Addenda on a sheet that came with later copies of the book, but they all relate to Arts & Humanities.)

Additions, comments and corrections are welcome via email.
